Botulinum toxin injections treatment works by blocking the nerve signals to the affected muscles around the injection site. The muscles become more relaxed and their activity is reduced, in turn reducing the effects on the skin such as lines.
When injected into the problem area, it freezes muscle movement by blocking neuro-transmitters for a period of 3-4 months, so the treatment needs to be administered a few times a year to maintain the curative affects.

Botulinum Toxin injections last around 12 - 16 weeks however, some clients do still find they have results remaining longer. For the best results, this treatment will need to be repeated on a 12 - 16 week basis to maintain the results.
Is the treatment painful?
With our Botox injections, we use needles which are the size of a single hair. This aids to the treatment being as comfortable as possible with most of our clients saying the treatment is comfortable.
